New York Fashion Week was plunged into controversy today after a six-year-old was allowed to gyrate in skimpy clothing on the catwalk.

Shocking pictures emerged today of Eden Wood, who shot to fame after appearing on TLC reality show Toddlers & Tiaras, dancing provocatively in hotpants and a crop top.

The images will trigger outrage from parents across America, and leads to questions about why Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is allowing such a show to take place.

The youngster, from Taylor, Arkansas, who was modelling for children's footwear brand Cicciabella, is likely to spark outrage from parenting experts with her performance.

It also flouts guidelines set by fashion industry body CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) which demands that designers do not use models under the age of 16.

But the show's host, Real Housewives star Kelly Bensimon, defended Eden's on-stage performance as just a 'fun, girly moment.'

She told the Daily Beast: 'That wasn’t stripping. That was just her having a little fun, girly moment.

Earlier this month, the Parents Television Council expressed its fury over a new episode of Toddlers and Tiaras that saw a three-year-old dressed as a prostitute.

The TLC programme shows the child's mother dressing young Paisley up in a costume to mimic Julia Roberts' character from the 1990 hit movie, Pretty Woman.

According to RadarOnline.com, the organisation said: 'We have a serious problem when a network formerly known as The Learning Channel features a toddler, who probably hasn't even learned to read, dressed as a prostitute showing off her sexy strut.'

According to the New York Post, the youngster's agent attempted to defuse the situation by telling her, 'You don't have big girl teeth'.

But it did little to soothe the furious child, who wanted desperately to sample the new gadget.

A spokesman for GLO Brilliant later told MailOnline that the firm stood by its decision.

They said: 'Bottom line - her adult teeth have not even come in yet.

'Whitening is not recommended for children younger than 14 years of age. But [Eden] would look fabulous GLOing - she's just got a few more years to wait!

Keeping fans guessing? Lily Collins and Taylor Lautner turned up separately at the premiere of their film Abduction last night and failed to pose up together

They are rumoured to be dating and at the premiere of their film Abduction could have been the perfect time to go public.

But Lily Collins and Taylor Lautner kept their fans guessing as they took to the red carpet last night separately.

The acting duo arrived at Grauman’s Chinese theatre in Hollywood at different times and failed to pose up together.

Lily, daughter of music legend Phil Collins, arrived in a stunning monochrome dress with baroque print and peplum detail by Marc Jacobs.

She teamed the knee-length dress with a pair of satin scarlet heels by Brian Atwood and carried a Christian Louboutin clutch bag.



What would Lily say? Taylor was in high demand and many girls seemed ecstatic at getting a photo with the hunk outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood

The actress had a short fringe cut into her hair and swept to the side, a look that channelled Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and donned Chanel fine jewellery earrings and a Van Cleef&Arpels bracelet.

Twilight hunk Taylor arrived looking extremely dapper in a dark petrol blue suit, a crisp white shirt and tie for the occasion.

And even if the pair did want to spend time together Mr Lautner had little time to speak with co-stars and was certainly in high demand with the screaming crowds outside the theatre in Hollywood.

But still all eyes were on Selena on the carpet, who turned out to support the film's stars including leading man, Taylor Lautner.

Beautiful danger: Heidi Klum may be one of the world's most beautiful women but searching for her name online leads to more malicious sites than any other star

Supermodel and TV host Heidi Klum has been named as the most dangerous celebrity in cyberspace, inviting malware and viruses to flourish on computers.

Internet security firm McAfee said searching for downloads and screensavers for the Project Runway judge and former Victoria's Secret model, 38, runs a nearly one in 10 chance of landing on a malicious website.

The sites are infected with spyware, spam, phishing and other viruses especially designed to steal personal information.

CNN talk show host Piers Morgan, 46, a judge on America's Got Talent and former newspaper editor, was the most dangerous male celebrity in the survey, produced annually by McAfee.

McAfee said cyber criminals often used the name of popular celebrities to lure people to websites that are laden with malicious software.

It said singers and sports stars tended to be safer searches than movie stars and models. Cameron Diaz, 39, topped the cyberspace danger list in 2010, and came second this year.

'While slightly safer than last year, searching for top celebrities continues to generate risky results,' said Paula Greve, director of Web security research at McAfee.

'Consumers should be particularly aware of malicious content hiding in "tiny" places likes shortened URLs that can spread virally in social networking sites, or through e-mails and text messages.'


Actresses Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis also fare badly when it comes to cyber crime, as does actor Brad Pitt.

Making news headlines does not seem to be a factor. Charlie Sheen was ranked 59 in the 2011 list, despite his acrimonious departure from television show, Two and A Half Men, and Lindsay Lohan was 18th despite being in and out of court and jail again this year.

But it seems as if Kim Kardashian wants to add another notch on her fairly extensive belt - Princess Leia impersonator.

The 30-year-old star recently donned the iconic gold bikini and swirled braids as she joined Kanye West to film a hilarious musical skit for Comedy Central.

Looking tanned and toned, Kim appeared very comfortable in the famous costume as she filmed parts of the ten minute clip alongside the rapper and several muppets.

The clip was set to be part of a pilot for Kanye's muppet comedy show, Alligator Boots, which he made in collaboration with hip hop star Rhymefest.

In Kim's brief appearance, she is serenaded by a very crude talking muppet while Kanye watches stunned.

Kim and Kanye shot the hilarious clip a while ago but unfortunately the show never went past the pilot stage and will never be aired on TV.

She has been spotted out and about several times this week taking in shows for New York Fashion Week and spending time with her new husband Kris Humphries.

Big smile, biting words: Brad Pitt gives himself two thumbs up as he slams ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in an interview with America's Parade magazine

Soon after Jennifer Aniston split from Brad Pitt, she pointedly said he was missing a 'sensitivity chip'.

And it seems she might be right.

The actor has given a stinging account of his 'pathetic' life and miserable marriage to the former Friends star in an uncensored interview with U.S. magazine Parade.

He also gushes about Angelina Jolie, saying that one of the 'smartest things' he ever did was to make her the mother of his children.

The 47-year-old, who is promoting his new film Moneyball, told the publication: 'I spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.

Pitt married Aniston, 41, in 2000 after dating the former Friends star in the 1990s.
They split five years later soon after he filmed Mr and Mrs Smith with Jolie, 36.

The comments cut rather close to the bone, considering Jennifer, 41, has made no secret of her desire to be a mother.

Two beautiful women, both with with a respectable pop music pedigree and both judges on the hotly anticipated US incarnation of The X Factor.

But Nicole Scherzinger, 33 , and 49-year-old Paula Abdul put on a display of unity tonight at the premiere of the Fox show, which was held at the Arclight cinema in Hollywood.

The two women rushed towards each other with arms outstretched.

They then embraced but a simple hug was not enough, nor was the long passe and frequently mocked double kiss.

London lovers: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart meet up in London where they embark on a tour of the city's landmarks

For Hollywood couples it's not always easy to grab some quality time together what with often hectic work schedules.

So it must have come as a welcome relief to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart that they were in London at the same time together this week.

The Twilight stars were seen heading out on a sightseeing tour around the capital yesterday just before R-Patz headed back to Los Angeles.

Pattinson, 25, was pictured leaving a pub with a blonde companion before he met up with Kristen to embark on their London day out.

Kristen sported her usual sullen expression as she skulked along in a grey hooded top, white Adidas T-shirt and tight dark denim jeans.

The 21-year-old was perhaps a little sad that she would soon be separated from her beau once again.

Robert then departed to head back to Los Angeles. He landed at LAX with his large pull along suitcase, while an assistant helped carry his guitar.

Kristen remains in London where she is filming scenes for Snow White And The Huntsman.

In a twist on the children's fairy tale, the film follows the story of the huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed who winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.

The movie also stars Chris Hemworth (older brother of Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Liam), Charlize Theron, Ray Winstone and Ian McShane.

Elsewhere Twilight fans were given a treat when an extended theatrical trailer for Breaking Dawn: Part 1 was released earlier this week with the scenes of sickly, frail Bella (Kristen Stewart) fighting for her life and her baby.
