Jackson doc has left California, returned to Texas
The probe into Michael Jackson's death has now become a criminal investigation, according to the county district attorney's office. "Multiple law enforcement sources" have told TMZ.com that the death is being considered a homicide, and the investigation has shifted to Dr. Conrad Murray, who sources say gave Jackson a dose of the anesthetic Propofol right before his death. The doctor has reportedly left California and is said to be in Texas, where he has a practice. The results of Jackson's autopsy will not be released for another two weeks, reportedly because some outside consultants haven't finished their reports. The coroner's office does not release partial autopsy results.
