Halle Berry dazzled at last night's Spike TV Scream Awards in a gold Roberto Cavalli minidress, proving to the world exactly why she's won the heart of the gorgeous Olivier Martinez.

She accessorised with just a simple pair of gold hoop earrings and Christian Louboutin heels to present the Ultimate Scream award to actor Christopher Nolan.

But just hours earlier she was barely recognisable as she collected a box from a storage facility in West Hollywood.

The actress, 44, who was wearing a black fleece and cut-off jogging bottoms, could be seen loading her car before going home to prepare for the evening's glamorous event.

Halle, who is mother to Nahla, two, started dating Kylie Minogue's ex around a month ago after meeting on the set of Dark Tide.

The new relationship with Martinez comes in the wake of her split from French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.

They now share custody of two-year-old Nahla - by all accounts, the split has been amicable from the start, with Aubry frequently travelling with his ex-partner so that he can help take care of their daughter.

The Monsters Ball star was joined by a number of high-profile names at last night's awards ceremony.

Blake Lively looked chic in grey Lanvin, while the newly slim Kelly Osbourne continued to impress in the fashion stakes with a black lace top and polka dot skirt.

Megan Fox also won style points for her pleated caramel Azzedine Alaia dress, with shoes by Brit designer Brian Atwood.

David Arquette's attendance came as something of a surprise however, following the announcement of his separation from Friends actress Courtney Cox which he then went on to discuss in embarrassing detail live on U.S. radio.
