VietNamNet Bridge - A press conference held on June 20 at the Caravelle Hotel in HCM City saw Le Tien Tho, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism open Miss Universe 2008 pageant in Vietnam.
Eighty contestants from around the world and Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori are present in Vietnam.
The organization board announced that many activities will take place in HCMC and Nha Trang from the 20 June to 14 July 2008.
VietNamNet captured international beauties at a night party at Sheraton Hotel, HCM City.

VietNamNet Bridge – The lotus season comes in May. Lotuses begin to blossom in the northern part of West Lake and many lakes in Hanoi’s suburbs. Lotuses also come to town on bikes of flower vendors. VietNamNet catches early lotuses.

VietNamNet Bridge – The semi-final round of Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 beauty contest was organised on May 24 at Vinpearl Land tourist site, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. Twenty competitors entered the next round. These girls will participate in some sub-competitions before the final night on May 31.
