Two on-set clips from Hype Williams-directed music video for Jay-Z's single 'Empire State of Mind' feature Alicia Keys' performance.
Alicia Keys indeed will share screen with Jay-Z in upcoming "Empire State of Mind" music video. Two clips taken during the filming process which gives brief glimpses on her appearance have hit the web.
The first footage shows Jay-Z and Alicia wearing black costumes and sharing stage for a performance with fans flocking at the venue. The other one captures Alicia standing behind the piano while singing her verses. "Empire Sate of Mind video was SUPER SICKKKKK yesterday!!! 'In NEWWWWW YOOORRRRRKKKKK' !!!! how was your day??" Alicia tweeted about the shooting process.
"Empire State of Mind" is one of the singles appearing in Jay-Z's September 11 release "The Blueprint 3" which is currently sitting at number 2 on Billboard Hot 200. The song was first showcased live on-stage during 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13. Its music video is directed by Hype Williams and hasn't had any release date just yet.
