Smart: The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford shows off her new Zara coat as she leaves a TV studio in London today

With temperatures higher than average for November, Londoners aren't quite feeling the winter chill just yet.

But The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford is clearly ready for the coldest season of the year as she stepped out in a chic camel coat today.

The 21-year-old singer, who has reverted back to her brunette tones after a few months as a blonde, looked cosy in £80 coat from Spanish clothing chain Zara.

Sandford was with her Saturdays bandmates Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, Una Healy and Mollie King as they promoted their new single Higher.

After their last single Missing You reached No.3 in August - despite their heavy promotion - they are hoping they will finally get their first No.1 with their new track, which features American rapper Flo Rida.

The youngest bandmember White, 21, was looking equally wintry in a black furry coat and skinny jeans.

Irish singer Healy, 29, appeared to have updated her summer wardrobe - a denim playsuit - for winter by teaming it with a pair of tights, leather jacket and furry boots.

But it appears Wiseman and King were still enjoying the relatively mild 14C temperatures with their bare legs and mini-skirts.

Aside from getting her wardrobe ready for winter, Sandford has also been defending her home county of Essex following the success of ITV2 reality show The Only Way Is Essex.

Sandford - who was brought up in Essex and used to work at the Sugar Hut nightclub which features in the show - says the programme is giving the country a bad reputation.

She said: 'It’s kind of like they’re undoing all the hard work that us Essex girls are doing.'

Meanwhile the group are set to perform a one-off gig next month to raise money for breast cancer.

The five-piece will be joined by Daisy Dares You and Lauren Pritchard at the Kit Kat Senses Concert For A Cure.
