Miss World Sweden 2011:

Nicoline Artursson was crowned Miss World Sweden 2011 at the National pageant held at the Winter Garden -Vinterträdgården- of the Grand Hôtel Stockholm on September 3, 2011. Nicoline of Halmstad is 18 year old. She will represent Sweden in Miss World 2011 Pageant, to be held in London, England on November 6, 2011. The first runner-up was Malin Brattström and the second runner-up was Maxime Calington. The top five includes Sara Bolay and Helen Beyto. Miss World 2010, Alexandria Mills, crowned the new Miss World Sweden 2011. Julia Morley was also present at the the big final.

Miss Earth 2011:

"Miss Earth is much more than just a beauty pageant, it's also an international environmental campaign." said Wanthanabhadee Jittanukroh, the CEO of the organizer PD Creation Co., Ltd., in an interview after the press conference on July 20, 2011 at the Kirimaya Resort in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima.

This year, Thailand is honored to be the host country for Miss Earth 2011 with the theme “Smile for Earth, for All”. Aligning with the International Year of the Forests, this year’s staging of the Miss Earth pageant is expected to be a grand showcase of Thailand’s rich culture, tourist spots, and, more importantly, its efforts to save and protect the environment.

This project is concerned with environmental protection. It's also an international event that will include a tribute to His Majesty the King on the occasion of his 84th birthday anniversary. We usually organize an activity, 'Khon Thai Jai Phakdi'(We love our king) for the King every year and this year, we'll be drawing the attention of people all over the world to his abilities. He is the only royal to have received the International Merit Award, an award for environmental preservation, in recognition of his theory about “Ya Faek“ (vetiver grass).

Miss Earth 2011, the 11th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, is scheduled to be held on November 12, 2011 in Thailand, one of Asia’s largest tourism destinations. Miss Earth 2010, Nicole Faria of India will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Holly Carpenter was crowned Miss Ireland 2011 on August 13, 2011 at the D4 Berkeley Hotel in Dublin. Holly is 19 year old and stands 1.77 m. She will represent Ireland in Miss World 2011 Pageant. The first runner-up was Rebecca Maguire. The second runner-up was Aisling Alcock.

Holly Carpenter from Raheny in Dublin is the representative of all the Universities in Ireland this year’s iMiss Ireland Pageant which took place in Ballsbridge Dublin on August 13th. Holly is 19 and going into her second year at NCAD in Textiles. Fun loving Holly likes art and crafts, taking pictures and fancy dress and was once mistaken for Kin Kardashian in New York! She said “I love Ireland and would be proud to represent my country. Let’s face it, I wouldn’t be able to do it for sport or the Eurovision but this is something I can do. I’m down to earth, up for the craic and have green eyes – Irish or what.”

Miss International Hungary 2011:

Nora Viragh was crowned the first ever Miss International Hungary at the contest held August 12, 2011. The first runner-up was Bianka Horvath while the second runner-up was Andrea Makk. Nora Viragh will represent Hungary in Miss International 2011. On Miss International, Hungary competed only twice so far: Kinga Czucor in 1991 and Blanka Bakos in 2004.
