Dalia Fernández of Santiago was crowned Miss Dominican Republic 2011 or Miss República Dominicana Universo 2011 on March 8, 2011 in Gran Arena del Cibao Dr. Oscar Gobaira in Santiago de los Caballeros. Dalia is 21 year old and stands 5’9”. She will represent her country in Miss Universe 2011 pageant. The 1st Runner-up was Katherine Cruz. She will probably represent her country in Miss Continente Americano 2011. The 2nd Runner-up was Kirssi Abreu. She will probably represent her country in Reina Hispanoamericana 2011.

The winner will represent the Dominican Republic in Miss Universe 2011. The Miss Mundo Dominicana will enter Miss World 2011 and the Miss Internacional RD will enter Miss International 2011. The First Runner-up will compete in Miss Earth 2011. The Second Runner-up will compete in Miss Tourism Queen International 2011.
