John Mayer will begin touring to support his new album 'Battle Studies' in February next year with the help from Michael Franti and Spearhead as special guests.

John Mayer is gearing up to hit the road to support his November 17 release "Battle Studies". He will kick off the gig on February 8, 2010 and finish it off on April 10. Michael Franti and Spearhead are recruited as his special guests.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on November 21. Fans who pre-order "Battle Studies" through November 10 on John's official website will access their own exclusive tour pre-sale before tickets are available anywhere else.

Before he is taking his entourage for the traveling show, John Mayer will make an intimate performance on the "TODAY" show, singing "Who Says" on November 19. Additionally, he will have a sit-in with David Letterman's sidekick Paul Shaffer and then tape a performance for "Late Show with David Letterman".

After the taping, a small group of fans will be invited to join John for a post-show concert which will stream live on David's official website and remain online through the beginning of the "Battle Studies" Tour.
