Minis and heels: Michelle Keegan (left) and Helen Flanagan arrive at Bury Bolton Street train station for co-star Antony Cotton's birthday party

Michelle Keegan and Helen Flanagan led a host of Coronation Street stars wishing their castmate Antony Cotton a happy birthday tonight.

Tanned Keegan, who plays grieving Tina McIntyre, and Flanagan, who plays troublemaker Rosie Webster, glammed up for the star-studded birthday bash at the rather unusual location of Bury Bolton Street train station.

While Keegan, 23, complemented her tan with a floral flared shift, Flanagan, 20, wore a racy bottom-skimming black dress and a pair of towering nude Christian Louboutin heels.

Also in attendance was Flanagan's on-screen sister Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) and co-star Sacha Parkinson (Sian Powers).

While Vincent and Parkinson, both 18, are close friends in real-life, their teenage characters have recently started a lesbian relationship.

Another young castmember in attendance was Jack P Shepherd, who plays Weatherfield bad boy David Platt.

Working things out: Jack P Shepherd and partner Lauren Shippey, who have worked past their recent troubles

The 22-year-old arrived with his long-term girlfriend Lauren Shippey, showing they have moved past his infidelity with promotions girl Sammy Milewski.

Shepherd released a statement apologising to Shippey and their baby daughter Nyla for 'errors I have made in my private life' following the tabloid revelations.

Another Corrie couple in attendance was Alan Halsall, 27, (Tyrone Dobbs) and his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, 26, who played troubled teen Katy Harris in the soap from 2002 until 2005.

Returning to help Cotton toast his special day was former Corrie legend Liz Dawn, 70, who played Vera Duckworth for 34 years before her character was killed off two years ago.

Other guests in attendance included Shobna Gulati (Sunita Alahan), Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) and Emmerdale actor Danny Miller (Aaron Livesy).

Cotton, who plays gay machinist Sean Tully, turned 35 on Thursday, but waited until Friday to have his party.

Writing on his Twitter, he tried to claim he was only turning 31, but was forced to admit he wasn't as young as he would like.

He said: 'I'll be 31 years old. Can you believe it?... Oh okay. I'm 35. Round the neck...
