Terminal catwalk: Victoria Beckham flew into Heathrow this morning wearing Christian Louboutin peep-toes with a vintage Goyard case


Victoria Beckham finally jumped on the Twitter bandwagon this week.

And the star used her first tweet to confirm what many of us have long known: that she uses those long walks through terminals at Heathrow and LAX to have a fashion moment.

'Finally!! Leaving for UK tomorrow "Airport is my runway!!!" Can't wait for fashion week! In love and light x VB' she said upon joining the social networking site yesterday.


Cute: Victoria tweeted her first picture yesterday - of her bull dog Coco, complete red nail covers and a pink bow around her neck, writing 'Check out the red nails!!'


True to her word, Mrs Beckham strutted through Heathrow this morning in a typically stylish ensemble.

The 36-year-old designer wore a simple yet chic outfit of white T-shirt over tiny denim shorts, a black blazer and towering Christian Louboutin peep-toe boots.

She accessorised with a gold Rolex watch and a large vintage Goyard carry-on.

Victoria wore her hair out and curled. she has rarely worn it out since adding extensions in July, preferring more elegant up-dos and pony-tails.

But it was a relaxed-looking Mrs Beckham who touched down in London this morning.
A spokesperson for the designer told The Mail Online that she is in town for 'a few days of final run-through and prep before she takes the collection to New York Fashion Week on September 12th.'

Victoria's brand has been nominated for a British Fashion Council Award for Designer Brand of the Year.

Victoria excitedly tweeted about the plaudit after it was announced on Wednesday evening at a party on the Roof Terrace at Soho House in London: 'So honoured to be nominated for designer brand of the year from the British Fashion Council!!!!in love and light x VB x'

The nomination is a prestigious honour for Beckham's two-year-old label, as she is up against more established brands Mulberry, Burberry and Pringle.

Since launching at New York Fashion Week in 2008, her brand has gone from strength to strength, and attracted a huge celebrity following, including Heidi Klum, Elle Macpherson, Leighton Meester and Danni Minogue.

The awards will be held in London on December 7th.
