Doctor Ooh-la-la: Matt Smith and Daisy Lowe have rekindled their relationship, as they enjoyed a romantic break in Capri


Doctor Who star Matt Smith appears to have got his girl, again. The BBC actor was seen canoodling with model Daisy Lowe on the Italian isle of Capri.

The pair had split suddenly after a three-month romance.

But the 27-year-old whisked lingerie model Daisy off for a romantic break and they appeared to be wasting no time getting reacquainted with each other.

Within hours of arriving, the couple looked very much an item as they puckered up while taking a dip in the sea, lounging on a boat, and again on the sun lounger.

In fact they barely came up for air in a marathon kissathon session which lasted the whole day.

Daisy, who wore a bright turquoise bikini, wrapped her legs around heart-throb Matt as they kissed and cuddled in the surf.

While back on dry land Matt climbed on top of his 21-year-old girlfriend and they shared a sun lounger.

The couple's three-month whirlwind romance which began in February came to a shock end last month. A friend said it came as a huge surprise as Matt and Daisy were 'totally into each other'.

But yesterday the friend said: 'After a couple of weeks apart, they realised how much they do like each other.'

'Matt's always really fancied Daisy and he's completely won her over now.'

The source added: 'It's a confusing one. At first, Matt was the keen one and couldn't get enough of Daisy. But when she really got into him as well, their relationship just fizzled.'

But it seems the pair have got their love bus back on track.

Later the couple shared a sloppy ice cream in a cafe. But even after cooling off with a Cornetto, Matt was decidedly hands on with the model as they strolled along.

Smith, 27, has been dating Daisy on and off and were first seen together at the Coachella music festival in California.

Their romance came soon after Daisy split from long-term love Will Cameron.

They rekindled their relationship last year after she split with music producer Mark Ronson - and were even photographed canoodling together at the Coachella festival 12 months ago.

But a gutted Cameron has told friends how Smith targeted Miss Lowe for months.

A friend revealed: ‘Will believes he is Daisy’s soul-mate and is really cross at the way Matt went about pulling her.

‘He made a play for her months before Daisy finally became interested and Will thinks Matt only managed to take her off him because of the Doctor Who kudos.'

In an interview earlier this year Smith seemed to accept she was dating someone else – and therefore off the market.

When asked what he is looking for in his ideal woman, Smith replied: ‘Oh gosh! Daisy Lowe is taken, so that's out of the question. Haha!’
‘She's a pretty lady.’

Smith broke up with Brazilian actress Mayana Moura last year.

He and Daisy were first said to have been introduced by Jaime Winstone, the actress daughter of Ray Winstone in Camden, North London.

Daisy has become one of Britain’s most successful models.

She will shortly make her debut as the cover star of the British edition of Vogue magazine.
