Lafangey Parindey is based on the bike gangs in Mumbai. The film features the fresh pair of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the character of Nandu, a fighter who pummels his opponents in the ring blindfolded. Deepika Padukone play Pinky Palhar, a dancer who is blind but ambitious and dances with roller skates on her feet. Deepika will be seen in an action avatar and both the lead actors have done some daredevil stunts inthe film.






Lafangey Parindey is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film is director Pradeep Sarkar's second outing with Yash Raj Films after Laaga Chunari Mein Daag in 2007.
