Seedy: Katie Price in Los Angeles where she visited a couple of sex shops


It started off with a visit to the wig store, before a trip to a sports shop.

But from there things went decidedly downhill after Katie Price and husband Alex Reid ventured into a string of seedy sex shops in Los Angeles.

The pair were pictured emerging from one such store looking unabashed as they sauntered past a wall lined with crude cards and top shelf magazines

But former glamour model Katie didn't bat an eyelid.

She is currently trying to break the U.S. and reportedly tried to schmooze TV and advertising executives at Elton John's Oscars party on Sunday.

A source told Now magazine: 'She won't get a foot in the door any other way.

'This will be Jordan's fourth visit in just over a year and each time she gets more exposure. She makes sure she keeps in with the gossip columnists like Perez Hilton.'

They added: 'She sees no reason why she can't be just as big as the Beckhams have been, as she's going for a different market.'

Katie is said to have banned her husband from doing a nude shoot for Attitude magazine, as she does not want him to be as popular as her in the gay community.

Meanwhile, Katie is said to have raged at ex-husband Peter Andre after it emerged he had a fling with stylist Maddy Ford.

Earlier on: The couple went into a sports store and bought some items


And she is alleged to have then handed the phone to four-year-old son Junior and told him to call his father a liar.

'She was saying to him, "Daddy's a liar. Look, Daddy's kissing another girl... See how Daddy treats Mummy now?"'

And husband Alex was said to be upset that she does not appear to be over her ex.
According to friends he is 'beginning to worry' that she does not love him.

Despite Katie Price's claims, Peter, who admitted in another interview this week that he had suffered from an eating disorder and up to 20 panic attacks a day during a nervous breakdown, said he had kept his word and remained celibate until his divorce was finalised.

In his magazine column, he said: 'Kate claimed six months ago that I had a secret girlfriend and that the truth would come out one day. A lot of people have therefore wrongly come to the conclusion that she was talking about Maddy.

'I can categorically state that this is totally untrue and I have not had a girlfriend since my divorce. And, more to the point, I hadn't even met Maddy when Kate said this!'

He added: 'I have never deliberately deceived anyone. I'm a single man. I said I'd remain celibate until after my divorce and I did.'
