On his £1million salary he could have impressed her by wining and dining her at an expensive restaurant.
Instead, One Show presenter Adrian Chiles took the new woman in his life on a date to a football game at Plymouth.
It's a decision which might not have impressed his co-host Christine Bleakley, with whom he was linked last year.

But it appears Chiles, 42, may now have met his perfect match in the shape of a blonde companion who was committed enough to join the Brummie watching West Bromwich Albion at the away game.
She is understood to be Ana Muhar, a Croatian journalist he met on a recent trip to the country where his mother was born. She was also pictured wearing a matching helmet to ride pillion with Chiles around London on his 650cc Honda.
On Saturday, the pair were seen on the terraces at Home Park, Plymouth Argyle's ground. Miss Muhar even wore a blue and white striped West Brom scarf.

Between action on the pitch (West Brom won 1-0), the pair kissed and cuddled before Chiles took pictures of them snuggling up together on his BlackBerry camera phone.
Chiles's spokesman said: 'They are friends. If there was kissing, it was just because they were celebrating a goal.
'Whether they will be just friends a few months down the road is anyone's guess. Currently though, it's friendship and she is happy to join him to cheer on his favourite team.'
Chiles was linked to Miss Bleakley after they were pictured meeting at a London flat, but he dismissed speculation about a romance. She is now dating footballer Frank Lampard.
