Lady in red: Anna Lynne McCord shows off her colour co-ordinated outfit as she films scenes on a scooter for 90210

Not many women could look chic in a scooter helmet, an evening gown and sky-high heels.

But that's exactly what AnnaLynne McCord managed to do on the set of 90210 yesterday.

The blonde actress, who plays school bully Naomi Clarke in the U.S. TV series, a remake of the hit 90s show Beverly Hills 90210, remained sleek and groomed as she filmed a series of shots while riding a baby blue scooter.

As well as the red dress, shoes and helmet, AnnaLynne accessorised her outfit with matching red sunglasses, an evening bag and lashings of red lipstick.

The 22-year-old actress was also joined by a stuntwoman on the scooter, who was decked out in a similar red dress and heels to play AnnaLynne's co-star Jessica Stroup.

AnnaLynne, who also starred in U.S. TV series Nip/Tuck, recently gave an interview insisting she will never be photographed falling out of a club, and takes her position as a role model seriously.

She said: 'I would love to say to young Hollywood - clean up your act! Don’t be on the cover of magazines for partying too much and driving down the wrong side of the freeway.

'Be on the cover of a magazine for something that matters for something that’s important. I know in your twenties you want to be young and beautiful and experience all of that, and I’m all for all of that, but at the same time with privilege comes certain obligations.

'If you are in that position and you take advantage of that and don’t use it to its fullest then I think there’s something wrong with you and your position should be taken away. If everyone thinks I’m crazy for it then they can think I’m crazy.'

Earlier in the day, AnnaLynne looked less than glamorous as she strolled around the Newport Beach set with her hair in rollers.

The actress, who is reportedly dating Twilight star Kellan Lutz, seemed unconcerned about her appearance as she prepared for scenes while wearing a white shirt and black trousers.
