Katie Price is under police investigation after having an argument with a pensioner over a disabled parking space.

The glamour model is alleged to have become involved in a disagreement with an elderly man after her husband Alex Reid used a disabled bay at the Comet store in Goldstone Retail Park, Hove.

When an elderly couple objected to Reid taking the space, Price is said to have followed the man into the superstore, shouting at him, and insisting she is entitled to use a disabled space when she is with her seven-year-old son Harvey.

Harvey, whose father is footballer Dwight Yorke, is partially sighted and suffers from severe autism.

A source told the News of the World: 'The man and his wife went over to Jordan and he started having a go at her about parking in the disabled space.

'He recognised her immediately and started saying to her, "Who do you think you are?" She was in no mood to take any nonsense from this guy because for once she was in the right.

'At first she told him, "Mind your f****** business" but then she saw red when he wouldn't let the issue go. She told him she was entitled to park there because of Harvey, who she is very protective of.'

Price is thought to have been on a Good Friday shopping trip with Reid, Harvey as well as four-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess Tiaammii, two.

The family were allegedly approached by the couple after packing the car with purchases from Toys R Us, situated next to Comet.

The source continued: 'The man was inside the stoere when Jordan suddenly appeared.

She stormed after him and let rip one again. She was screaming and shouting at him in front of shoppers, but she didn't care who was watching or listening.'

An employee at Comet added: 'Katie has the right to park in the disabled spot which is right outside the store. But the other couple became extremely agitated because they thought they should have the use of that parking bay and started kicking off at Katie and Alex over what a disgrace they were.'

Police arrived at the store shortly afterwards where they spoke to the elderly man.
Price is then said to have called officers from her car over the incident.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: 'Sussex Police attended the Goldstone Retail Park in Hove at around 1.30pm on Good Friday afternoon following reports of an argument between two men.

'It would appear that a dispute had arisen over the occupation of a disabled parking bay and also involved the partner of one of the men and the wife of the other.'

The police questioned Price, Reid and the elderly couple at the scene of the crime, but no arrests were made. Officers did not confirm whether the model's children were present.

Price told the newspaper last night: 'If anyone does anything that upsets my children, I don't care who it is, I am always going to protect them.'

Meanwhile, Price and Reid are said to be considering having marriage counselling after the glamour model told friends: 'I feel claustrophobic and trapped... I can't see this marriage lasting.'

The couple, who have been married for just eight weeks, are alleged to be arguing over Price's frustration that she can't get pregnant.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: 'Katie thinks what she needs more than anything is another baby - she is desperately broody and is telling people she's at the stage where she might have to give up.

'She's turning getting pregnant into a military operation. But she thinks Alex is falling short. She is even demanding he give up his career as a fighter to concentrate on building a family.'

The couple are also thought to be arguing about Reid's regular phone calls to his mother.
