Property presenter Kirstie Allsopp has blasted Katie Price for using her children to help her make money.

The Location, Location, Location host even likened Katie's way of promoting seven-year-old Harvey, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess to 'putting her children up a chimney to earn some money'.

But Katie has hit back at the criticism, asking: 'Who the hell is Kirstie Allsopp?'

Kirstie's comments come after Katie, 31, used her two youngest children, Junior and Princess, to model a variety of items for her latest equestrian clothing range on her website.

The children also appear in Katie's reality show on ITV2.

Kirstie, 38, is quoted as saying to Star magazine: 'She might as well just put her children up a chimney to earn some money. They have no chance in later life of leading private lives.

'By making them famous, you are removing their right to make that decision themselves.'

Kirstie has two children, three-year-old Bay and one-year-old Oscar, with husband Ben Anderson.

She is also stepmother to two children from Anderson's first marriage.

But Katie is said to have asked who Kirstie was after hearing the comments.

She is quoted by the Daily Star as saying: 'I have never even heard of her so it's bizarre and quite funny that she is just using my name to further her own career.'

A source claimed in the newspaper: 'Kirstie just seems yet another person who is bad-mouthing Katie to get publicity for themselves.

'It just seems unfair she has just picked up on Katie when Peter is on the cover of magazines with the kids.'
