Family fun: Naomi Watts gives eldest son Sasha a piggy back as they walk to the park in New York City yesterday

Naomi Watts' oldest son Alexander 'Sasha' Schreiber sure knows how to travel in style as he gets a piggy-back from his A-list mother.

Enjoying some time out before she embarks on a publicity tour for her new film Mother And Child, the 41-year-old spent yesterday hanging out in New York City with the adorable two-year-old.

Missing out on all the fun was the King Kong actress's younger son Samuel Kai, 16 months, and her partner, actor Liev Schreiber.

The Oscar-nominated star was bang on trend with her blue jumpsuit and ballet bumps.
Watts' trip to the park with Sasha came after the family returned from a holiday to Barbados.

Watts has lived in New York since she first started dating Manhattan-based actor Schreiber in 2005.

The couple, who starred in The Painted Veil together in 2006, are set to co-star again together later this year in an untitled ensemble comedy, which also features Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet.

Watts and Schreiber, 42, recently denied reports they had split up.

Internet reports claimed they had ended their romance after having a 'clash of egos'.
However, Schreiber's representative dismissed the rumours as 'ridiculous' and 'false'.

Watts recently admitted she was hoping to have a third child and ideally would like a girl after being outnumbered in a house full of male.

Along with Schreiber and their two sons, the family also have two male dogs as well.

She told She magazine: 'f I could guarantee myself a girl, I'd say yes to having more children. but I'd be sure to have another boy.

The busy mother admits she struggles to balancing her career with parenthood.

She explained: 'I see myself as any other working woman. Every day I'm struggling to get it right, do the best I can, make the right choices for work, be a good mother and have time for my relationship with Liev.

'I'm never sure whether I'm doing any of it right, but I've finally got to the age where at least I know that I'm just doing my best.'

Kent-born Naomi was raised in Britain, but moved to Australia when she was 14, several years after the death of her father, Pink Floyd sound engineer Peter Watts.

It was during her teen years as a young model, she befriended a then-unknown Nicole Kidman and the two co-starred in 1991 indie film Flirting along with Thandie Newton.

After living in Australia for 10 years, Naomi moved to Hollywood and currently splits her time between New York and Los Angeles.
