Good friends: Stacey Solomon and Jeff Brazier smile as they arrive into Stansted airport following the national X Factor tour


As single parents from Essex who are living in the spotlight, Stacey Solomon and Jeff Brazier have a lot in common.

So perhaps it's no surprise that the pair have developed a tight friendship after meeting on the national X Factor tour.

Their bond was evident as they laughed and joked around after flying into Stansted airport after the tour ended last week

Gentlemanly Jeff, 30, wheeled Stacey's bags through the airport as The X Factor star, 20, tottered alongside him in skinny jeans and sky-high heels.

Once outside Stacey jokingly held up two fake taxi signs for 'Mr Brazier' and 'Mrs Beak' - a reference to her nose.

She scowled and then laughed as Jeff took photos of her holding up the signs as she wrapped up against the chill in a large shawl.

The pair were returning from Glasgow along with other X Factor finalists after the last night of the tour, which Jeff presented.

Despite rumours of a budding romance, an X Factor source said they were just good friends, adding: 'They have a lot in common - they're both young, with kids and from Essex.'

Jeff has custody of his two sons with Jade Goody, who passed away last year, while Stacey is mother to Zachary, who is nearly two-years-old.

Stacey has also been linked to fellow X Factor finalist Olly Murs last year but the pair insisted they were no more than friends.
