Courtside: Teri Hatcher went casual to the LA Lakers last night in a low-cut purple vest and jeans

There's never a shortage of stars watching the Lakers in Los Angeles but rarely do they pose the risk of putting the players off.

Yet in her low-cut vest top showing her cleavage to the max, Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher wouldn't have gone unnoticed by the basketballers last night.

But the Lakers managed to hold their concentration to beat Oklahoma City Thunder 87-79 in the Western conference play-offs and keep their season on track for glory

Hatcher posed happily for cameras and chatted with a friend during the game, which was the highlight of a busy weekend.

On Saturday night she attended the Aviva Family and Children's Services Honours at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The non-profit agency looks to help disadvantaged children in the local area and the fundraiser saw guests roaming martini bars, sampling a gourmet menu and dancing into the night.

Hatcher looked terrific in a Grecian-style nude, floor-length gown that again was cut deep in the front to reveal her ample assets.

Earlier, she had shared a fun day with her daughter Emerson Rose.
They only went to Starbucks but appeared to have a grand old time in the LA sunshine.

Hatcher held hands with the 12-year-old and they frequently both burst into giggles

Wearing a loose shirt and tight jeans, Hatcher grinned broadly at the waiting photographers.

At one point during their walk, the 45-year-old was laughing so hard at something on her iPhone, the pair had to stop until her giggles subsided.

The day out with her daughter must have been a welcome break for Hatcher from the controversy currently surrounding Desperate Housewives.

Former co-star Nicollette Sheridan has filed a £13million lawsuit against its producer Marc Cherry, claiming he 'took her aside and forcefully hit her across her face' for querying a script.

The British-born actress also claims 48-year-old Cherry was equally abusive to Hatcher.

She alleges that after a disagreement with Teri, he said: 'I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies'.

Despite these claims, Hatcher and co-stars Eva Longoria, 35, Felicity Hoffman, 47, and Marcia Cross, 48, issued a statement voicing their support for Cherry.

Funny face: Hatcher burst out laughing looking at her iPhone

It read: 'It would be irresponsible of us to let the public believe that being a part of this show from its inception has been anything but a blessing.

'We have no first-hand knowledge of what Nicollette may or may not have experienced, but we would never characterise our set as a hostile environment.

'It is, in fact, the opposite. The friendships and support that Marc Cherry, the cast, the crew and the producers have shared for the past six years have made this a wonderful job that we are grateful for every day.'

The statement also addressed Sheridan's mention of Hatcher in her lawsuit, branding it 'unfortunate and inappropriate'.
